Job summary

Edmentum is seeking a Full Time Virtual English/Language Arts Teacher to deliver live, on-camera instruction to middle and high school students in a remote-first environment. You will personalize learning, engage students online, and create a supportive virtual classroom daily.

This role requires a bachelor’s in Education, a valid state teaching license with an ELA endorsement for grades 6–12, and comfort with data-driven instruction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
• Active state teaching license with endorsement in English/Language Arts, grades 6-12.
• Preferred state licensure in MD, NC, OH, IN, MN, WY, PA, or MI.
• Experience teaching in virtual and/or in-person settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver live, on-camera instruction for five or more hours per day on every instructional day.
• Personalize instruction using student performance data and identify learning gaps.
• Provide timely feedback and maintain accurate records for families and students.
• Build genuine relationships with students and families through professional communication.
• Collaborate with school partners and Edmentum colleagues to ensure consistent support across the learning experience.
