Job summary

Edmentum is seeking a Virtual French Teacher to deliver live, on-camera instruction in a remote-first setting. You will personalize learning, use performance data to guide your approach, and maintain open communication with families and schools.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Education and an active teaching license (Ohio or Pennsylvania) for Global Languages: French 6-12, plus experience with online learning platforms and live virtual instruction.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field and active teaching license (Ohio and/or Pennsylvania) in Global Languages: French grades 6-12.
Experience teaching in virtual and/or in-person settings; comfortable with live online classroom.
Able to teach live for five or more hours per day, on scheduled instructional days.

Responsibilities

Deliver live, on-camera instruction for five or more hours daily.
Personalize instruction using student performance data.
Provide timely feedback and maintain accurate records for families.
Build relationships with students and families through professional communication.
Collaborate with school partners and Edmentum colleagues to ensure consistent support.
