Alignerr Corp is seeking an English Audio Transcription Specialist (AI Training) for a fully remote, hourly contract role. Convert spoken audio into accurate, well-formatted text to help AI systems learn from real speech.

You will listen to English recordings, capture natural speech, apply formatting, and proofread transcripts. No prior transcription experience required; strong English skills and reliability are essential to work asynchronously on your own schedule.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in English with excellent listening comprehension.
• Strong written English skills — grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Naturally detail-oriented with a methodical approach to work.
• Able to follow structured guidelines and apply them accurately at scale.

Responsibilities

• Listen to English audio and produce precise, verbatim transcriptions.
• Capture content including natural speech, fillers, and speaker changes when required.
• Apply consistent punctuation, formatting, and spelling per guidelines.
• Identify and flag unclear or inaudible audio segments.
• Handle diverse audio types—conversations, interviews, lectures, podcasts, etc.
• Review and proofread transcriptions for accuracy and completeness.
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
