Perit AI in the United States is seeking meticulous transcription annotators to listen to audio, compare transcripts to spoken words, and apply lowercase formatting with annotations for filled pauses and backchannels.

You will follow detailed guidelines, flag unclear audio, and correct mis-transcriptions across large volumes. A quiet workspace, headphones, and strong English writing are required; training and guidelines are provided. This is a remote, fixed monthly role.

Qualifications

• Strong English writing and comprehension.
• Prior AI annotation experience in transcription or a related field is required.
• Training and guidelines are provided.

Responsibilities

• Listening to audio and checking the transcript against what's spoken.
• Correcting missing or extra words and transcription errors.
• Applying detailed annotation guidelines consistently across large volumes of work.
• Flagging unclear audio, edge cases, and anything not covered by guidelines.
