Qualifications

• Proven success building engineering teams at high-growth startups (Series A through growth stage).
• Track record of improving team output—shipping cadence (often with AI), reducing incidents, and accelerating hiring velocity.
• Experience building a culture of high standards where engineers are proud of what they ship.
• Strong full-stack engineering background enabling architectural decisions when needed.

• Lead and scale the engineering team during a critical growth phase, establishing engineering excellence and shipping products that empower finance teams as strategic partners.
• Hire exceptional engineers, set technical direction with founders, unblock the team, and multiply the impact of others while remaining hands-on for architecture when needed.
• Drive a culture of clarity, accountability, and high performance across the engineering org.
• Collaborate across leadership to align product, design, and infrastructure with business goals.
