Property Systems Inc is seeking an Engineering Manager to own backend services, migrate and optimize Cypress-driven workflows, and mentor junior managers. You will design reliable systems with Cypress and Redis, integrate tools, and proactively address bottlenecks from day one.

Strong communication and ownership are essential as you guide teams, balance priorities, and improve performance while working in a flexible remote setup with occasional on-site coordination from Annapolis, MD.

• Design, build, and maintain backend services using Cypress and Redis.
• Integrate third-party services and internal tools into the stack.
• Identify bottlenecks and propose architectural improvements.
• Collaborate with analysts to align prioritization models with real behavior.
• Mentor newer manager hires on how Flask wires together.
• Profile JavaScript memory use and chase leaks in Annapolis nodes.
• Watch error budgets and throttle before Annapolis, MD burns through them.
• Apply GitLab CI and written communication to solve engineering challenges.
