Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking an engineering leader to manage two squads and guide about 11 engineers toward reliable, on-time delivery aligned with clear product roadmaps.

You will partner with product and design to set priorities, participate in architecture discussions, mentor senior ICs, and promote scalable, AI-enabled engineering in a remote-first environment with global collaboration.

Qualifications

• Engineering management experience (2+ years) leading 6–8+ engineers.
• Demonstrated execution leadership with disciplined delivery practices.
• Proven ability to mentor senior individual contributors and develop talent.
• Background in product engineering, not just infrastructure or platforms.
• Strong technical judgment in architecture discussions and tradeoffs.
• Ability to shape product direction and long-term technical strategy with product management.
• Good judgment balancing ambiguity, data, speed, quality, and priorities.
• Regular use of AI to improve productivity and outcomes while maintaining quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead two engineering squads and guide ~11 engineers toward sustainable delivery against product roadmaps.
• Establish high-accountability culture with weekly goals, reviews, visibility, and timeline management.
• Partner with product/design to define priorities and decisions about what gets built and why.
• Provide architectural input and guide technical decisions without needing to implement every solution.
• Attract, develop, and retain strong engineers, with emphasis on senior IC growth.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with go-to-market, AI teams, and product partners to deliver outcomes.
• Contribute to scalable engineering practices and processes for sustainable growth.
• Encourage responsible AI use across engineering workflows to boost productivity and quality.
