Job summary

HungerRush, LLC is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of 8-10 engineers responsible for our e-commerce, growth marketing, and consumer apps. You will partner with product managers to shape priorities, plan initiatives, and align technical execution with business goals.

You will unblock the team through hands-on contribution when needed and develop a broad understanding of the business to increase impact. This remote role supports HungerRush’s AI-driven transformation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in technical leadership and people management
• 10+ years of professional experience in software development
• Proven success delivering SaaS, E‑Commerce, or consumer-facing web apps/APIs
• Deep experience with distributed systems, cloud environments (Azure preferred) and modern architectures
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies including C#, Azure, and SQL Server

Responsibilities

• Grow and lead a team of 8-10 engineers
• Hire high-quality engineering talent and develop your team
• Mentor engineers with training and performance management
• Build high-scale systems focusing on reliability and business value
• Contribute to software development with architecture, design, and code contributions
• Leverage AI advances to improve development efficiency and outcomes
• Collaborate with product managers and operations teams
• Drive continuous improvements in processes and standards
• Contribute directly to the codebase as needed
