Job summary

HungerRush, LLC is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of 8-10 engineers working on our e-commerce, growth marketing, and consumer apps. You will grow the team, mentor engineers, and partner with product managers to align technical work with business goals.

This role emphasizes AI-enabled development, scalable cloud architectures (Azure, C#, SQL Server). You will unblock the team, contribute to code, and drive process improvements while maintaining a culture of high performance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as technical leader and people manager.
• 10+ years of professional experience recommended.
• Proven success delivering SaaS, E-Commerce, or consumer-facing web apps/APIs.
• Distributed systems, cloud environments (Azure preferred), and modern architectures.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies including C#, Azure, and SQL Server.

Overview

The position is tolead a team of engineers buildingour e-commerce, growth marketing, and consumer apps. Leading includes coordinating, growing, and empowering their direct reports and others within their respective team. It also includes direct participation in those same activities.

This role requires close partnership with product managers to shape priorities, plan initiatives, and align technical execution with business goals. Engineering Managers should also communicate regularly with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback, provide updates, and ensure the team's work delivers meaningful value.

At times, this leader will need to focus on unblocking the team through both direct and indirectcontribution. They are expected to develop a broad understanding of the business to provide context for the team's efforts and toidentifyopportunities where the team'sexpertisecan make a greater impact.

Essential Responsibilities And Duties

• Grow and lead a team of 8-10 engineers
• Hire high-quality engineering talent and develop your team

• Contribute to software development with an emphasis on architecture, design, quality, implementation, and culture

Qualifications

• Experience as a technical leader and people manager for at least 2+ years
• Extensive professional experience, recommended 10+ years
• Demonstrated success delivering SaaS, E-Commerce, or consumer-facing web applications/APIs
• Deep experience with distributed systems, cloud environments (Azure preferred), and modernarchitectures
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies including C#, Azure, and SQL Server.

Preferred Qualifications And Skills

• Experience with React, Bootstrap, Vue.js, and other front-end frameworks
• Experience with Queues, Caches, CDN's, and other technologies used for building scalable web applications
• Experience with SQL Azure, Azure Service Bus Queues, and Redis Cache
