Job Title: Remote Engineering Manager - $170-$190k (Wearable Med Device)
Salary: $170-$190k Base + Equity, Unlimited PTO, Benefits, 401k
Requirements: Med Device, 13485 ISO, Leading FDA Audits
We are an FDA approved rapid growth medical device org.
We created a wearable device which diagnoses sleep apnea and arrhythmia.
This technology has huge potential for other applications, and we plan to apply it to heart failure and diastolic functions next.
This device is a cutting-edge practical alternative to the standard, clunkier, alternative.
This is our second successful start up. Our founding team previously took an orthopedics start ups from conception through exit.
We have 35 team members and are funded for around $14MM, just closed an additional round of funding a few months ago, and have a few years or runway.
Due to growth we're looking for an Engineering Manger with the following experience:
- Medical device
- Managing/leading engineering teams
- React Python, Django, and cloud experience (ideally AWS)
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 5 engineers + 1 QA engineer
- Own spring planning, assignments, and ensure on time delivery of sprint commitments
- Own architecture discussions, code quality assurance, and technical design reviews
- Ensure proper documentation for FDA standards
- Compensation: $170-$180 Base + Equity, Benefits, 401k
- Equity: equity offered
- PTO: unlimited PTO
- Track Record: Founding team took their last start up from conception to exit
- Funding: Raised $14MM over the last year
