CloudLinux is seeking an Engineering Team Lead to run the team that builds and operates its security product line for inbound and outbound email protection. You will lead a senior, fully remote squad and be accountable for delivery, reliability, and people growth.

The role blends leadership with hands-on engineering across Go and Python services, with a focus on architecture, incident command, and production readiness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a software engineer with leadership responsibilities in a product company.
• Strong Linux proficiency; reading and debugging production code.
• Track record shipping distributed backend services under real production load.
• Ability to make credible architectural decisions in complex domains quickly.
• Professional proficiency in English, written and spoken, with EU-hours availability.

Responsibilities

• Translate product backlog into a credible engineering plan with timelines and dependencies.
• Lead the weekly planning, release readiness, and status reporting with measurable metrics.
• Own model release quality gates, including rollback paths and delta tracking.
• Make architecture decisions for the email stack and review designs on the critical path.
• Manage a distributed team across the globe, including hiring, 1:1s, and performance conversations.
• Drive AI-augmented development practices: coaching on agent-supported coding and tool use.
