Job summary

Mindex is seeking an Engineering Lead to guide the engineering team behind ClearTrack and MTSS Edge. This hands-on leader will combine people leadership with technical execution, contributing to design, development, code reviews, troubleshooting, and delivery.

You will mentor engineers, modernize a critical platform, and drive AI‑assisted development while expanding product knowledge across the team. This role emphasizes collaboration, continuous improvement, and stakeholder partnership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/SE or related field.
• 5+ years of software engineering with technical leadership and people management.
• Experience coaching engineers and delivering business‑critical software.
• Strong background in software architecture and modernization of legacy apps.
• Experience building RESTful APIs, web apps, databases, and front‑end tech.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of software engineers through regular one‑on‑ones and mentorship.
• Guide modernization of ClearTrack and MTSS Edge while maintaining stability for customers.
• Drive CI/CD improvements, testing strategies, release processes, and observability.
• Contribute to software architecture, design, reviews, and troubleshooting in production.
• Document architecture and product knowledge to reduce silos and improve maintainability.
• Partner with Product, UX, QA, Support, CloudOps, and other teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Lead incident response and post‑mortem analyses for critical issues.
• Promote AI‑assisted development across planning, coding, testing, and documentation.
