Qualifications

• Exceptional academic track record in CS/ STEM
• Extensive management experience leading multiple engineering teams
• Excellent Linux-based software engineering background
• Proven ability to drive testing, benchmarking and quality across teams
• Strong verbal and written English communication; public speaking skills
• Willingness to travel internationally and frequently

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple engineering teams from junior to senior levels
• Develop engineering managers and maintain company culture
• Hire staff for performance and quality roles
• Coach, mentor, and provide career development feedback
• Measure team health and productivity indicators
• Ensure delivery includes community involvement and documentation
• Implement disciplined engineering processes and defend them
• Set and track progress against benchmark goals for speed and efficiency
• Represent products to stakeholders, partners, and customers
• Develop and evangelise best engineering practices
