Turner Construction Company in Memphis is seeking an Entry Level Engineering Assistant to support project engineering and administration for the Special Projects Division or other units. You will assist with shop drawings, RFIs, estimates, and document management.

The role emphasizes teamwork, initiative, and the ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, while gaining exposure to scheduling and coordination tasks on construction projects.

Qualificações

• Two years of college education from an accredited program in Engineering, Construction, or relevant field.
• Building construction, engineering, or equivalent experience, preferred.
• Must have good interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team.
• Demonstrate initiative and desire to learn.
• Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
• Proficient with computer applications, data entry, and Microsoft suite of applications.
• Basic understanding of scheduling programs, desired.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in engineering and administration of projects.
• Assist in obtaining and reviewing information for shop drawings, product data, and samples.
• Assist in communications across project teams and RFIs.
• Assist in preparing estimates for changes in work, including review of Change Order requests.
• Study contract drawings, specifications, and shop drawings for proper coordination and installation.
• Maintain and update contract documents and project logs.
• Distribute information required for construction to appropriate parties.
• Assist Engineering to ensure materials/equipment are released for fabrication on schedule.
• Assist in preparation of final project records and OM manuals.
• Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.
