Job summary

CrowdStrike, a global cybersecurity leader, is expanding its Advanced Research team to develop and maintain cloud-based services and detection capabilities. You will work with Kafka, Flink, Redis, ElasticSearch, Cassandra and LLMs in a distributed, remote-first environment.

The role requires a CS degree or equivalent, proficiency in Java/Scala, Go or Python, and experience with distributed systems, RESTful APIs, and cloud providers.

Qualifications

• US citizenship or permanent residency required.
• Computer science degree or commensurate experience.
• Programming in Java/Scala, Go or Python.
• Understanding of distributed systems, scalability, RESTful patterns and multithreading.
• Production-grade service deployment experience.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins or Bamboo).
• Experience with cloud provider APIs (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration.
• Experience applying AI to improve workflows and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain distributed cloud services; keep them healthy and scalable.
• Collaborate with Security, Data Science, Engineering, and Visualization teams to enhance Falcon platform.
• Develop and improve detection capabilities and integrate new features into CrowdStrike’s systems.
