Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Energy & Transmission Market Consultant to expand an existing consulting practice focused on transmission congestion analysis under SCED. You will model electricity markets, analyze results, and present actionable findings to clients and executives.

A Bachelor's degree in engineering, math, science, finance or related field with four plus years of experience is required, along with experience in PROMOD IV, Encompass, UPLAN or Plexos. This is a fully remote U.S. position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, math, science, finance or related field.
• 4+ years of relevant energy market experience.
• Experience with market modeling software (PROMOD IV, Encompass, UPLAN or Plexos).

Responsibilities

• Perform complex electricity market modeling and transmission congestion analysis using SCED.
• Analyze study results and develop deliverables with actionable client solutions.
• Manage client engagements and ongoing relationships.
• Present study findings to client executives.
• Research energy market processes and current industry trends.
• Support business development and expand key client relationships.
