Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Remote Energy Storage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead a project from planning through closeout. You will coordinate with engineering, scheduling, budgeting, and procurement to deliver LNTP scopes within budget and schedule.

You will collaborate across departments to understand design constraints, manage risk, and maintain accurate cost forecasting. Occasional travel and remote collaboration are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Energy Storage Construction Experience.
• Thorough understanding of plans and specifications.
• Field experience (5-8 years, Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent).
• Leadership ability to organize remote teams into high-performing units.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel ~25%.
• 2+ years scheduling and estimating experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements.
• Prepare billings and expedite payments.
• Set up and maintain all aspects of the CMiC system.
• Prepare bid packages and solicit and evaluate bids.
• Review plans for completeness and accuracy.
• Supervise and train Preconstruction Project Engineers and clerical staff.
• Ensure procurement activities align with LNTP scope, budget, and schedules.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to create contract scopes of work.
• Maintain timely reporting on cost forecasting and estimate at completion.
• Develop mitigation plans for project risks.
