Nautilus Solar Energy seeks a Risk Manager, Insurance & Enterprise Risk to lead our national insurance program, claims, and risk analytics for a growing renewable energy portfolio. You will oversee broker negotiations, coverage strategies, and lender/compliance reporting, ensuring value and protection across projects.

The role requires 7+ years in insurance/risk, strong negotiation and financial acumen, and collaboration with brokers, lenders, and legal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex insurance programs and claims.
• Knowledge of property and casualty insurance concepts.
• Experience with brokers, carriers, lenders, and legal teams.
• Strong analytical, financial, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual broker negotiations and renewals.
• Develop insurance placement strategies to optimize coverage and cost.
• Manage relationships with brokers, carriers, consultants, and advisors.
• Evaluate coverage terms and policy language against risk objectives.
• Monitor portfolio risk across weather, catastrophe, regulatory, cyber, and market risks.
• Produce risk dashboards and executive reporting.
