WSP Global Inc. is seeking an Energy Market Advisor to grow our Energy Strategies group within the Energy Advisory Services unit.
The role centers on power market modeling, IRP analysis, and strategic advisory for clients navigating regulatory and transition challenges. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with energy systems modeling (PLEXOS/ProMod/GridView), quantitative analytics, and electricity market operations, and will deliver client‑facing insights across generation,
Qualificações
- Bachelor’s degree required in energy or related field.
- 7+ years in energy market modeling or utility planning.
- Experience with IRPs and regulatory environments.
- Knowledge of power system modeling tools and market structures.
Responsabilidades
- Develop and maintain advanced power market models for price forecasting and IRP analyses.
- Deliver technical due diligence and investment analyses for energy infrastructure projects.
- Create client-ready deliverables: reports, models, and presentations.
- Analyze large datasets with Python, Excel, R, and SQL to derive insights.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects.
