Job summary

EQT Corporation is offering a Landman Intern role as part of a 12-week paid real-world internship. You will gain hands-on experience on leasing, energy land management, and cross-functional collaboration with EQT’s West Virginia & Ohio Land Acquisition team.

The position emphasizes drafting and negotiating oil & gas leases, reviewing obligations, and contributing fresh ideas to development challenges while interacting with multiple EQT departments to move wells on the drilling schedule forward.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Energy Land Management, Petroleum Land Management, Business Administration, MBA, or JD with a focus in Energy/Coal/Oil & Gas.
• Experience on Oil & Gas or Energy projects requiring PM skills and attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of energy land management practices and contract negotiation exposure.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate new oil and gas leases and related agreements.
• Review lease obligations on EQT's core inventory and future wells.
• Collaborate with Operations Planning, Permitting, Title, Business Development, Land Administration, Division Order, Legal and Owner Relations.
• Contribute new ideas and fresh perspectives to day-to-day development decisions.
