Job summary

EQT Corporation invites you to join its Environmental Intern program for a 12-week paid internship in Williamsport, PA. You will assist the environmental team with field and office tasks, learning how EQT preserves the license to operate for a major natural gas producer.

You’ll gain hands-on experience, perform data analyses, complete reports, and present a summer project to management. Open to undergraduates pursuing environmental science or geology with strong academics.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in environmental science, geology, or related field.
• Must have completed sophomore year before start.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team.

Responsibilities

• Cross train with other EQT departments to the extent practical
• Develop a basic understanding of EQT operations
• Conduct field investigations as assigned
• Support compliance initiatives with technical evaluations and recommendations
• Enter environmental inspections into EQT’s database using field instrumentation
• Participate in training, seminars, and conferences
• Participate in team-building and culture booster activities
• Complete a summer project and present to EQT Management at the internship conclusion
