Job summary

Engtal is seeking an Energy Engineer / Project Developer to lead site assessments and energy audits within data centers, identifying optimization opportunities in HVAC and building systems. You will own front-end project development, translate findings into scopes of work, and develop retrofit solutions.

The role involves preparing cost estimates, ROI analyses, and lifecycle costs, then presenting proposals to clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Energy Engineering.
• Experience in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, Energy Engineering, Project Development, or related building infra.
• Knowledge of commercial/industrial HVAC systems and energy efficiency opportunities.
• PE, EIT, or CEM certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead site assessments and energy audits in data center environments.
• Own front-end project development, scopes of work, and retrofit recommendations.
• Prepare project cost estimates and financial models including ROI and payback.
• Prepare and present technical proposals and documentation to clients.
• Collaborate with engineering, construction, and project teams to improve processes.
