Job summary

ICF is seeking interns to support its Energy Efficiency Division with data collection, analysis, and program delivery. This is an entry-level, 10-week internship beginning in early June 2027. Work will be remote from MA or NY, with occasional in-person meetings.

Pay is $23 per hour and relocation housing assistance is not available. Interns will gain experience across Operations and Delivery, develop Excel-based tracking, and contribute to client deliverables while learning from experts and

Qualifications

Excellent quantitative/analytical skills and ability to analyze situations and recommend solutions.
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of project management principles.
Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Strong organizational, time-management, and detail orientation.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all levels of internal staff and outside clients.

Responsibilities

Assisting with data collection and data analysis.
Creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets and databases for internal tracking and project management.
Supporting client-facing semi-annual reporting efforts.
Assisting in preparation of internal and client deliverables.
Documenting processes and developing process improvements and/or automation.
Contributing to energy analysis and measure development.
