Job summary

CLEAResult in Detroit is seeking an Energy Tech III to install basic energy efficiency upgrades in residential homes, inspect insulation, air sealing and HVAC components, and advise customers on energy savings. You will work as a local on-site program representative to educate customers on Energy Waste Reduction.

This remote role with no overnight travel offers a four-day work week (10-hour days), a company van, and training.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant industry experience preferred.
• Associates degree with relevant certification/training preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• BPI certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install basic residential energy efficiency upgrades with training provided.
• Inspect homes for insulation, air sealing, and HVAC equipment and make recommendations.
• Provide technical guidance and training to customers and program staff.
• Travel within defined territory and maintain company vehicle and equipment.
