Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Project Developer to lead energy efficiency and retrofit projects across mission‑critical environments, including data centers and healthcare facilities. You will own the full front‑end lifecycle from site assessments to proposal delivery, coordinating with clients and internal teams while traveling ~30% for audits and site walks.

The role is fully remote with flexibility on location and a contract‑to‑hire arrangement based out of Littleton, CO, with a pay range of $55–$70

Qualifications

• Energy auditing experience in mechanical/electrical environments.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, MEP systems.
• Ability to work independently in field and remote settings.
• Experience with energy efficiency projects and ECMs.
• Familiarity with BAS/controls and trend log analysis.
• Comfortable reading drawings, equipment documentation, and specs.
• CEM, DCEP, EIT, or PE are beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Energy audits – perform detailed assessments of mechanical, electrical, and cooling systems in facilities.
• MEP evaluations – document conditions, collect data, analyze trends, validate measurements.
• HVAC & cooling systems – assess chiller plants and critical systems for efficiency.
• Energy modeling – develop savings calculations, ROI/payback analyses.
• Scope development – build technical scopes of work for retrofits and ECMs.
• Estimating – prepare cost estimates for proposed solutions.
• Client engagement – lead presentations and support proposal delivery.
• Project ownership – manage full development cycle from assessment to proposal.
