Job summary

PowerSecure, a Southern Company subsidiary, seeks a Construction Manager (II) in Austin, TX to oversee installation of the DI equipment, ensure safety, schedule, and budget compliance at the project site.

You will manage subcontractors and internal resources, interface with customers, utilities, AHJs, and lead meetings. The role requires 4+ years in construction, strong communication, and CM software proficiency; 70% travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 4+ years in construction.
• Experience with general contractors, subcontractors, customers.
• Ability to lead meetings and communicate clearly.
• Proficient with standard office software and CM software.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe and healthy work sites by company standards and legal requirements.
• Coordinate and lead safety briefs with contractors and employees.
• Coordinate and lead project meetings with customer, utility, subcontractors, and others.
• Understand project financials and issue Purchase Orders.
• Ensure sites are tidy and follow housekeeping standards.
• Coordinate with parties for timely execution of project.
• Communicate with Senior Staff to ensure safe, timely, and on-budget installations.
