Job summary

PowerSecure, Inc. in the United States seeks a Construction Manager II to ensure DI equipment installs are safe, on time, on budget, and per specifications.

The Construction Manager will represent PowerSecure at the project site level, oversee construction activities, manage subcontractors and internal resources, and interface with the customer, utility, and AHJs. Travel 70%+, lead project meetings with stakeholders, and ensure safety, quality, and compliance across projects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 4+ years of experience in construction.
• Knowledge of construction management and financials.
• Experience working with General Contractors, subcontractors, customers, engineers, utilities, and AHJs.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, product data submittals and site specifications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to lead meetings in various formats.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe and healthy work sites by following company standards and legal requirements.
• Coordinate and administer daily safety briefs with contractors and company employees to ensure a safe working environment.
• Coordinate and lead project meetings with customer, utility, subcontractors, and/or other stakeholders.
• Fundamentally understand the financials of a project and able to create and issue Purchase Orders.
• Ensure project sites are left tidy and follow housekeeping standards and procedures.
• Coordinate with respective parties for timely execution of project.
• Communicate with Senior Staff to ensure each project is installed safely, timely, and on budget.
