Job summary

Christianson PLLP is seeking an Energy Compliance Auditor to perform attestation engagements ensuring regulatory compliance of operational data for our clients, in line with our quality control procedures. The role also involves researching renewable fuel regulatory programs, evaluating standards, and assisting in the development of audit and verification programs for the renewable fuels industry.

Qualifications

• A 2 or 4-year business, accounting, financial, management, or related field degree is preferred, but not required
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients and other staff
• Strong in problem-solving, analytical skills, critical thinking skills, and being detail-oriented
• Can work independently but also work effectively with a team
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, and Word

Responsibilities

• Prepare attestation engagements and reports for renewable fuels compliance projects
• Collect and analyze data related to renewable fuel production facilities for regulatory compliance
• Research and summarize regulatory programs and standards (RFS, LCFS) and monitor regulatory changes
• Support development of audit and verification programs for the renewable fuels industry
• Cultivate relationships with clients and assist business development
