Job summary

Customized Energy Solutions is seeking a Renewable Compliance Analyst to support its Renewable Energy Services and Compliance Team, focusing on tracking regulatory changes and managing Client RECs. The candidate should be highly proficient in Excel, data analysis, and communication, able to work independently or with a team under tight deadlines.

The role requires interaction with Clients and regulatory authorities, with opportunities to contribute to energy market initiatives and compliance

Qualifications

• 2+ years relevant work experience.
• Energy industry background preferred with experience in Compliance or RPS obligations and REC markets, PJM and ISO-NE.
• Excellent analytic processing skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Track Renewable Energy Credit (REC) markets and Renewable Portfolio Standard (RPS) regulatory changes.
• Monitor state and utility regulatory proceedings to identify developments and provide actionable items.
• Maintain complex data sets, models, and information tracking systems.
• Manage processes for tracking required filings for retail suppliers, including data collection and timely notification.
• Manage renewable generation and retail energy compliance REC portfolios using CES’ platform.
• Prepare and submit registrations and ongoing federal, ISO, state and utility reports.
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients, counterparties, and regulatory authorities.
• Perform other duties as assigned/needed.
