Job summary

Actalent is hiring an Energy Advisor (Inbound Customer Support) for a remote-first role based in Bothell, WA, with quarterly on-site meetings at the Bothell site. You will assist customers with energy efficiency programs, rebates, and billing inquiries while delivering exceptional service.

This contract position is 12 months with a strong possibility for conversion. The ideal candidate has 1–3+ years in a call center, can handle high-volume calls, and is bilingual (Cantonese, Mandarin, Spanish,

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years of experience in a call center environment.
• Ability to handle high-volume inbound calls.
• Interest or knowledge in energy efficiency, sustainability, renewable energy, EVs, and/or utilities.
• Bilingual (HIGHLY DESIRED) in Cantonese (Top), Mandarin, Spanish, Vietnamese, or other languages.
• Any prior or current experience working in a customer support environment for a utility company or energy/power company would be a strong bonus.
• Must be local in WA (Relocation is not considered at this time).

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound customer inquiries related to energy efficiency, rebates, incentives, green energy, EV programs, solar, and billing concerns.
• Navigate multiple systems and knowledge bases simultaneously.
• Research program information and provide consultative customer guidance.
• Provide professional phone presence and customer empathy.
• Handle incoming customer calls in a high-volume queue environment.
• Analyze customer energy usage patterns.
• Resolve billing concerns and account inquiries.
• Educate customers on energy conservation solutions.
• Meet departmental performance and service metrics.
• Deliver professional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
