Job summary

Public Consulting Group is seeking a Consultant to support and lead projects across EMS, fire services, healthcare financing, Medicaid reimbursement, and public-sector consulting. You will work directly with state and local agencies, managing client relationships, research, and data-driven recommendations to improve services and financial sustainability.

The role emphasizes project leadership, business development, and producing client-facing materials, with remote work and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in related field preferred.
• Five or more years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in public-sector consulting, healthcare financing, EMS/fire services or reimbursement fields preferred.
• Experience managing client-facing projects and developing technical deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Reviews EMS, fire services, Medicaid financing and public-sector consulting operations.
• Evaluates client programs and recommends improvements to operations and finances.
• Analyzes federal/state laws, regulations, and reimbursement methodologies.
• Leads proposal development and coordinates contributors for final submissions.
• Manages client communications, project workstreams, and deliverables.
