Job summary

WAHVE, a remote-first employer, seeks seasoned insurance professionals to join their vintage expert program. The role offers full or part-time schedules and the chance to continue applying your insurance expertise from home, with company benefits and long-term engagement.

Responsibilities include managing client relationships, sending RFPs, analyzing proposals, designing plan options, preparing SPDs and benefit guides, handling census and open enrollment, and resolving claims and billing issues.

Qualifications

• 25 years of full-time work experience
• 10 most current years of health and employee benefits experience
• Experience working directly for a retail or wholesale benefits broker or insurance carrier

Responsibilities

• Managing client relationships and servicing client needs.
• Sending requests for proposals to carriers.
• Analyzing carrier proposals and negotiating a competitive program for new and renewal business.
• Preparing spreadsheets of recommended plan designs and rates.
• Preparing proposals, summary plan descriptions, and benefit guides.
• Assisting with census and open enrollment information.
• Resolving claims and billing issues.
