Job summary

K&L Gates is seeking a Special Projects Lawyer to join our Emerging Growth and Venture Capital practice. This remote role requires the attorney to be licensed and living in a state with a K&L Gates LLP office, and to bring a minimum of five years of relevant corporate experience to bear on a wide range of projects.

You will work closely with partners on company formations, equity issuances, consulting and employment agreements, and Carta administration, while maintaining data rooms and client

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in a U.S. state with a K&L Gates office
• At least five years of relevant corporate experience
• Experience supporting special projects for Emerging Growth and Venture Capital teams

Responsibilities

• Assisting with company formations and basic formation documents
• Supporting equity issuances for clients
• Assisting with basic consulting and employment agreements
• Managing Carta administration and upkeep
• Maintaining data rooms and document repositories for client matters
• Working with partners on a wide range of corporate matters in a fast-paced environment
