Dana Safety Supply, Inc. is seeking an Emergency Vehicle Systems Specialist to join our team.

This role designs electrical output configurations and creates custom wire harness solutions for vehicle upfits, reviewing sales orders for accuracy and coordinating with sales, production, and installation teams to ensure precise builds. The ideal candidate has experience with 12V automotive electrical systems, the ability to interpret wiring diagrams, and strong organizational and communication skills

Qualifications

• Experience with 12V automotive electrical systems preferred.
• Knowledge of emergency vehicle equipment and upfitting processes preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with computers and technical documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify sales orders for accuracy and completeness.
• Confirm correct parts, components, and configurations prior to sales order submission.
• Design and configure emergency vehicle output and control systems.
• Create and document custom wire harness layouts and wiring schematics.
• Assist with electrical load planning and system integration.
• Coordinate with sales and production departments to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate build documentation and revision records.
• Support troubleshooting and technical problem-solving during production.
• Ensure all work meets company quality standards and customer specifications.
