Job summary

Dana Safety Supply is seeking an Emergency Vehicle Technician to install and service emergency response vehicles and related equipment at our Clinton, NC facility.

You will work on electrical systems, lighting, radios, GPS, and upfitting components, ensuring compliance with manufacturer and regulatory standards. Strong diagnostic skills and tool proficiency are essential for daily maintenance and repair tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive electrical systems and vehicle upfitting.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and testing instruments.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure emergency vehicle equipment including lights, sirens, radios, and cameras.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and electronic issues in fleet vehicles.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure readiness and compliance with standards.
• Read wiring diagrams, manuals, and installation instructions to guide work.
• Maintain accurate service records and inventory accountability.
