Job summary

AC Disaster Consulting seeks a Consultant, Planning to support EM planning projects with remote work and deployment when needed. You’ll assist in developing emergency operations plans and continuity strategies for client organizations, reporting to the Senior Emergency Management Planner II.

The role emphasizes collaboration with local, state, and federal partners, delivering client-facing services and contributing to risk assessments, exercises, and preparedness initiatives.

Qualifications

• Position provides direct client support for EM planning projects and related duties.
• Develops, implements, and maintains emergency management plans.
• Collaborates with clients and stakeholders in the emergency planning space.

Responsibilities

• Support development and maintenance of emergency management plans and procedures.
• Develop hazard mitigation and resilience plan components.
• Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify vulnerabilities.
• Coordinate with local, state, and federal agencies and community organizations.
• Develop and implement training programs for client staff and response teams.
