Job summary

AC Disaster Consulting is seeking a Consultant, Planning to deliver direct client support on EM planning projects, including OPS/COOP plans and exercise development. You will collaborate with public and private clients, perform risk assessments, and help implement emergency management programs.

The role involves regular onsite deployment with remote work options, up to 50% travel, and opportunities for professional development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management, Public Administration, Public Health or equivalent.
• 2+ years in emergency management or related fields.
• Experience with FEMA guidelines and CPG CC geographies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain emergency management plans and procedures.
• Support hazard mitigation, climate adaptation, and resilience planning.
• Conduct risk assessments and identify mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with agencies and community orgs for response efforts.
• Deliver training and conduct emergency drills and exercises.
• Assist with client-facing emergency planning and preparedness projects.
