Job summary

Mercor is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician (MD) for remote, part-time work with hourly pay. You will review emergency department documentation, annotate AI-generated ED summaries, and provide expert feedback to improve clinical AI systems.

This role is US-based and requires board-certified EM with clinical experience. Flexible scheduling is designed around an active clinical practice, with compensation at $150–$170 per hour.

Qualifications

• MD with a completed Emergency Medicine residency.
• Board-certified in Emergency Medicine with 2–3+ years of practice as a board-certified ED physician.

Responsibilities

• Review ED clinical documentation and patient charts for accuracy, completeness, and clinical soundness.
• Evaluate AI-generated ED summaries against what a practicing emergency physician would expect on arrival.
• Annotate clinical encounter data against detailed guidelines.
• Flag omissions, hallucinations, clinical inaccuracies, and documentation gaps in AI-generated output.
• Provide structured, written feedback that engineering and product teams can act on.
• Contribute expert input on annotation guidelines and edge-case definitions, and raise clarifying questions where guidance is ambiguous.
