Job summary

Mercor is seeking board-certified Emergency Medicine physicians to review, annotate, and evaluate AI-driven clinical documentation. You will apply ED expertise to shape the accuracy, safety, and usefulness of medical AI systems while working remotely on a part-time schedule.

Ideal candidates hold an MD with EM residency, are US-based, and have 2–3+ years of board-certified practice. Prior AI/ML experience is a plus, with flexible scheduling around ongoing clinical duties.

Qualifications

• MD with completed Emergency Medicine residency.
• Board-certified in Emergency Medicine with 2–3+ years of practice.
• US-based licensure or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Review ED clinical documentation and patient charts for accuracy and completeness.
• Annotate clinical encounter data against detailed guidelines.
• Evaluate AI-generated ED summaries against expected ED arrival content.
• Flag omissions, hallucinations, and inaccuracies in AI outputs.
• Provide structured feedback for engineering and product teams.
