CloudIngest Inc. is seeking a Device & Embedded Systems Architect to own end-to-end technical architecture for our device platform, including on-device software stacks, Android lifecycle, OTA updates, and telemetry pipelines.

Qualifikationen

• 8 years of software engineering experience with at least 5 years focused on embedded systems, device software, or mobile platform engineering.
• Deep, hands-on expertise in Android platform development and security hardening.
• Experience designing and operating OTA update infrastructure for production device fleets.

Aufgaben

• Define and own the reference architecture for device endpoints across brands, ensuring security and scalability.
• Lead Android-based platform design including HAL customizations and system services.
• Establish firmware and embedded software architecture standards (bootloader, secure enclave).
• Design the OTA update framework and evaluate open-source options to meet scale needs.
• Architect telemetry systems balancing data richness and network constraints, with cloud ingestion integration.
