Torque Technologies LLC is seeking a Device & Embedded Systems Architect to lead the reference architecture for edge devices and the Android-based device platform. The role focuses on HAL customization, system services, security hardening, and OTA/firmware framework design for scalable product lines.

Formación

• 12–15+ years of software engineering with 5+ years in embedded systems or mobile platform engineering.
• Deep hands-on Android platform development experience including AOSP customization, system app development, HAL implementation, and platform security.
• Strong knowledge of device management concepts and hands-on experience with MDM/EMM platforms at scale.
• Experience architecting embedded telemetry systems and integration with cloud ingestion pipelines.
• Proficiency with embedded Linux, kernel modules, device trees, and hardware bring-up concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Define and own the reference architecture for all device endpoints across brands, ensuring security and scalability.
• Lead architectural design of the Android-based device platform, including HAL customizations and security hardening.
• Establish firmware/embedded software architecture standards and OTA update framework design.
• Design telemetry systems balancing data richness with network constraints and enterprise data pipelines.
• Produce clear architecture documentation and influence engineering decisions across teams.
