Job summary

HARMAN Automotive seeks a Software Developer C++ to design and implement components for Telematics in the car ecosystem. You will work on embedded software, IoT concepts, and V2X features, contributing to in-vehicle infotainment, safety, and comfort.

Qualified candidates have 4+ years in software development, strong C++ and Embedded Linux skills, and IPC/threads/sockets experience. Some international travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related IT field.
• At least 4+ years of experience as a software developer.
• Strong knowledge of C++ (3+ years).
• Experience with Embedded Linux and Linux environments.
• Experience developing embedded applications and IPC/threads/sockets.

Responsibilities

• Study and understand customer and internal specifications.
• Develop component design documents and software components (C++/Linux).
• Perform unit and system testing and participate in code reviews.
• Provide root cause analysis and verify fixes for software components.
• Communicate with stakeholders and coordinate with teams across Harman.
