Job summary

Luxoft is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to develop, integrate, and maintain real-time C++ software for ECU-based automotive features. You will own technical architecture and delivery for camera/vision, HMI, parking, diagnostics, or infotainment, and drive design reviews and release readiness.

The role requires 6+ years of software experience, 2+ in automotive embedded, strong C++11/14/17 and Linux/QNX/RTOS expertise, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development, incl. 2+ years in automotive embedded.
• Strong modern C++ expertise (C++11/14/17), STL, multithreading and performance.
• Embedded C/C++, real-time systems, Linux or QNX/RTOS, Git, code-review practices.
• Automotive domain knowledge: CAN, ECUs, diagnostics, AUTOSAR, HMI, infotainment, etc.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and maintain real-time embedded C++ software.
• Own technical architecture and delivery for ECU-based features (camera/vision, HMI, ADAS, infotainment).
• Conduct design and code reviews.
• Turn customer requirements into estimates, designs, plans, and testable deliverables.
• Collaborate with QA, systems, OEM customers, and distributed teams; ensure release readiness.
• Maintain development quality, traceability, documentation, and Automotive SPICE-aligned processes.
