Job summary

Lago is seeking a data-driven Email Marketing Specialist to plan, execute, and optimize email programs that drive engagement, retention, and revenue across our global audience. You’ll own lifecycle campaigns from strategy through testing and reporting.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of hands-on experience with major ESPs, strong copywriting, segmentation, analytics, and a solid understanding of deliverability and list hygiene. Remote-friendly, growth-focused team.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of hands-on email marketing experience.
• Experience with at least one major email platform (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign).
• Experience building automated email flows and segmented campaigns.
• Strong email copywriting and performance analysis skills.
• Knowledge of CAN-SPAM and GDPR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute promotional campaigns, newsletters, lifecycle emails end-to-end.
• Build and optimize automated flows including Welcome Series and Abandoned Cart.
• Develop audience segments and personalized messaging with dynamic content.
• Write compelling email copy and collaborate on mobile-responsive templates.
• Monitor deliverability and list hygiene; manage suppression lists.
• Conduct A/B tests and translate results into actionable optimizations.
• Monitor metrics and provide insights on revenue per email and engagement.
• Ensure compliance with email regulations.
