Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Email Marketing Specialist to join their fully remote team. You will craft and execute campaigns that nurture leads, engage customers, and drive conversions, leveraging automation, copywriting, and analytics to optimize performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field.
2-3 years of email marketing experience.
Proficiency with email platforms (Mailchimp, HubSpot, SendGrid, Constant Contact).
Strong copywriting, editing and proofreading skills.
Experience with marketing automation and CRM systems.
Ability to segment audiences and personalize emails.
Strong analytical skills to interpret campaign data.
Remote work ability and self-motivation.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement effective email marketing strategies and campaigns.
Design, write, and test engaging email copy, subject lines, and calls-to-action.
Manage email list segmentation and hygiene to ensure targeted and relevant communication.
Set up and manage automated email workflows (welcome series, drip campaigns, etc.).
Monitor, analyze, and report on email campaign performance metrics.
Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations (POPIA, GDPR).
Collaborate with design and content teams to create on-brand email templates.
Stay up-to-date with email marketing trends, tools, and best practices.
Conduct A/B testing to optimize performance.
Contribute to the customer journey strategy through email touchpoints.
