Job summary

Saltwater Inc. seeks an experienced EM Technician to install and service electronic monitoring systems on fishing vessels.

The role combines remote support by phone and email with extensive field travel across the United States, including Alaska, to ensure reliable monitoring and seamless integration into vessels' operations. Ideal candidates have a science or CS background, hands-on hardware/software aptitude, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in natural sciences (biology, fisheries, natural resources, wildlife biology, limnology, etc.) or CS; or 4+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• EM Installs and Servicing: prepare, install and service EM system components on fishing vessels, including cameras, hardware and software; provide remote troubleshooting and on-site support.
