Job summary

SAIC seeks a Windows System Administrator in Pensacola, FL to support architecture, engineering, and administration of Windows infrastructure. Responsibilities include AD desktop support, server and virtual environment management, patching, backups with VEEAM, and vulnerability/STIG compliance.

Use PowerShell to automate tasks and participate in RMF/Zero Trust processes. The role requires TS/SCI clearance, relevant certifications, and the ability to work on-site with occasional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 0+ years, AS with 2+ years, HS with 4+ years.
• Experience with Windows Server 2019/2022/2025 and Windows 10/11.
• Experience reviewing ACAS/Nessus vulnerability scans and remediation.
• Active CompTIA Security+ ce certification required.
• Must obtain Microsoft 365 Certification Endpoint Administrator Associate within six months.

Responsibilities

• Desktop support of Windows 11 workstations in an AD environment.
• Support Windows Server 2019/2022/2025 on virtual/physical servers.
• Manage VMware virtual environments and virtual networking.
• Patch systems with WSUS and MECM.
• Backups with VEEAM and restore procedures.
• Verify vulnerability compliance via Security Center/Nessus.
• Ensure DISA STIG configuration compliance with automated tools.
• Resolve outages via Service Now.
• Automate tasks with PowerShell and MECM.
