Job summary

Odyssey Systems Consulting Group seeks a Window Systems Administrator to support the ANG Remote Piloted Aircraft SOC in Houston, TX. The role involves maintaining Windows servers, networks and security architectures for TS/SCI classified environments, coordinating with military and civilian stakeholders, and delivering reliable IT operations.

Expect hands-on engineering, patch management, and site deployments.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required
• TS/SCI clearance
• Security+ CE or DOD 8570 IAT II certification
• Approximately 5 years of enterprise software systems experience
• VMware virtualization experience

Responsibilities

• Interface with military/government clients to shape IT, networking and infrastructure.
• Provide hands-on network engineering to design, install and maintain RPA SOC networks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve highly technical outages and complex IT issues.
• Test and evaluate networks to improve core enterprise services for Army users.
• Collaborate with site leads, program managers, end users and staff on security architectures.
• Support data backup/restore, database maintenance, user accounts, data archiving, and security compliance.
• Utilize patch management tools (WSUS, SCCM) and design integrated security solutions.
• Configure and validate secure complex systems and test security products.
• Perform system administration of RPA-SOC databases and servers, troubleshoot LAN/WAN, firewalls, TS/SCI networks.
• Assist in technology refreshes and installation of new RPA-SOC sites.
• Adhere to DIA, Cyber Security, Tempest guidelines and installation procedures.
• Provide system administration support of servers, desktops, switches, routers and software.
• Document actions during installations and provide completion reports.
