Job summary

PSI Pax, Inc. seeks a Windows Systems Administrator Intermediate/Journeyman to support a government customer at Patuxent River, MD.

Responsibilities include installing, configuring, and maintaining LANs, servers, and virtualization, with emphasis on system monitoring, backups, and security. The role requires an active Top Secret clearance (SCI eligible preferred) and strong communication skills to interface with executives and customers.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to provide customer service.
• Experience: 3+ years performing work related to the LCAT functional description.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain LAN, data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers.
• Perform system monitoring and verify integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources.
• Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs including backups.
• Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access.
• Install and upgrade software and maintain licenses.
• Assist in network emulation/virtualization, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.
