Job summary

University of California, Berkeley Haas School of Business seeks an Alumni and External Relations Specialist 4 (Associate Director, Employer Relations) to manage employer relations in the technology sector and connect Haas students with opportunities.

You will partner with CMG and student clubs to create customized programs, engage recruiters, and promote Haas at conferences, while building long-term relationships across alumni networks.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of the technology sector and related employer needs.
• Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with alumni and external partners.
• Experience navigating higher education environments and campus processes.

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements long-term employer relations plans and programs.
• Aggressively identify and contact companies about Haas recruiting opportunities.
• Coordinate with Haas faculty marketing and alumni offices to connect companies with students.
• Promote Haas programs at industry conferences and events and communicate recruitment opportunities.
• Grow the number of opportunities within existing recruiting companies.
• Support part-time MBA job seekers and internships with industry connections.
• Foster relationships with students and alumni across midyear and senior positions.
